Karen Robes Meeks

Karen Robes Meeks is an award-winning business writer who has spent nearly 20 years chasing stories all over Southern California. Her writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register and the Press-Telegram, where she worked as a staff writer for more than 13 years before become a freelancer. Her last beat at the P-T involved covering the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the Long Beach Airport and the final years of the Boeing Co.’s now defunct C-17 program.  Her work has been recognized by the Los Angeles Press Club, the California News Publishers Association and the Associated Press.
