Carol Sobel is a civil rights attorney in Santa Monica, California, often representing homeless people. Before entering private practice, she spent 20 years working in various positions for the ACLU, serving as Senior Staff Attorney for seven years. Carol has litigated many significant cases in federal and state court. She served as local counsel for the Center for Constitutional Rights in the Humanitarian Law Project v. Ashcroft lawsuit, and served on the Rampart Blue Ribbon Panel investigating LAPD abuses and corruption. Since 2004, she has been ranked as one of the Los Angeles Super Lawyers for Civil Rights.
